The Alberta Orthopaedic Society (AOS) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1995, dedicated to serving orthopaedic surgeons across Alberta. The Society plays a key role in advancing scientific research, education, and the professional and economic well-being of its members. Through various initiatives, AOS strives to support its members in their clinical practices while fostering continuous learning and innovation in the field of orthopaedics. The AOS promotes fellowship and collaboration of orthopaedic surgeons in the province.
Advocacy: Ensuring the voices of orthopaedic professionals are heard at provincial and national levels
Excellence in Care: Promoting the highest standards in orthopaedic treatment and patient outcomes.
Collaboration: Working alongside key organizations like the COA, AMA and ABJHI to enhance healthcare policies and services.
